Specific Title Book Requests

These directions are for patrons who have specific title requests and who have reserved them using our online catalog.

  1. Search for the item you would like on our online catalog.

  2. If we own the item, please click "Place Hold" to reserve the item. Our staff will pull it for you and call you when it is ready to pick up. 

  3. If we do not own the item, please call us at 717-762-3335 to request the item from another library via InterLibrary Loan (ILL). This is a free service.

Items will be checked out, labeled with last name and ready for pickup at the BACK DOOR ONLY. Have ID ready to show staff at pickup. Masks required.

Pickup times are:

  • Monday, Tuesday, and Fridays: 11am until 5pm

  • Thursdays from 1pm until 7pm

  • Closed on Wednesdays and Saturdays – no pickup available

Once your have made your title holds using our online catalog, A library staff member will call to schedule a pickup date when requested holds are ready.
