Donate to the library to help our programs

We use a safe donation process to collect donations in a secure manner.

Donations of any amount are always welcome at the library.  Simply stop in or mail a check with your name and address on it to receive a thank you letter.  100% of the money goes towards supporting the library. Donations will be used to purchase library items or you can also sponsor a library event such as the summer reading carnival or guest speakers.  We also accept art supplies and gently used toys for the children’s department on an as need basis.  If you are interested in donating please talk to the staff about many other donation opportunities available.

Donate to the  BRICKS BOOKS BYTES  Campaign

In 2013 the Alexander Hamilton Memorial Library received a generous bequest from Waynesboro native Donald E. Nary. To maximize the benefits of this gift and to accomplish a major renovation and expansion of library facilities, the board of trustees determined the need to raise additional funds. The Bricks.Books.Bytes. Campaign will take our 70-year-old library and transform it to meet the needs of the 21st century patron. The $1.5 million campaign will add additional space, enhance services, and renovate portions of the original early 19th century building. Pledge Card 2014 Books.Bites.Brews.
