Fill Up the Feeders: Here Come Spring Migrants!
March 19 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Winter birds feasting at seed and suet-filled feeders make great entertainment, but travel-weary spring migrants need food, too, before seeding plants and roaming insects are readily available. Join Conococheague Audubon Society in an overview of birds we’ll find at our late-winter feeders as well as an introduction to colorful migrants who stop by from March through May. There’s also a quiz to bone up on bird recognition by sight and sound.
The program is presented by Debby Hook, CAS president and program chair; and CAS member Sharon Williams, who leads (along with her husband, Larry) Renfrew Institute’s twice-monthly birding walks.
